Lesson 13: Bodhicitta: meditation of focused attention and visualization (Bồ đề tâm: chỉ quán song hành) Right Dharma teaching, wrong method of practice Lesson 13: Bodhicitta: meditation of focused attention and visualization I have presented how to develop Bodhicitta in lesson 11: Right Dharma teaching, wrong method of practice. In this lesson, we focus on Bodhicitta as an object of meditation of visualization and focused attention simultaneously known as focused- visualization meditation. Before making clearance, I introduce something about meditation. What is meditation? In Sanskrit, meditation is “gathering”, meaning that you get used to the object. It is so simple! There are 112 techniques of meditation in the world in regard to focused meditation or visualization one, or meditation in static space or action space. However, there are only 4 techniques of meditation in Buddhism including: (1) breathing meditation (2) mantra meditation (3) vipassana/mindfulness  meditation (4) visualization meditation, comprising all techniques of external religions. Based on each Buddhist school, they have their own meditation techniques. There
