Dear Holy Guru,

I am Professor Chukwugozie Maduka, B.Sc (Maths/Physics), PGDE, M.Ed (Philosophy), Ph.D, LL.B (law), B.L(law). Professor of Philosophy, Practicing Lawyer, Wood Sculptor, Harmonicist, Accordionist. And Visiting Professor, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, USA.

Professor Chukwugozie Maduka was a Head of Department of Philosophy and Religions at the University of BENIN, BENIN CITY, NIGERIA

Professor Chukwugozie Maduka at the University of BENIN, BENIN CITY, NIGERIA

Dear Holy Guru,

I had in 2020 read and commented on some of your illustrious lessons/lectures. In this 2022, I have read and commented on about 10 such lessons/lectures. Permit me to say straight away that the lessons are masterpieces of illumination, truths, spirituality and wisdom. My consummate reading of those inspirational treatises energize me to enunciate as follows:

1, I appreciate that Pure Mind yoga can be fruitfully be performed in any posture, including standing and walking and should be so assiduously undertaken.

2, I affirm the extraordinary and spiritual universal significance of ceremonising and celebrating the Vesak as the threefold remembrance of Guatamala Buddha’s birth, attainment of enlightenment and translation to Nivarna.

3, I appreciate the overwhelming importance of cleansing our minds of all impurities, of all trash.

4, I hold that we must at all times endeavor to overcome any form of spiritual myopia.

5, I testify that we must live in such a way that we do not return here as hungry ghosts, as animals or as a being in hell of the lowest realm. Rather, by following the path delineated by the Guru and in accordance to the Dharma, we should ultimately attain full enlightenment, attain Nivarna and either be Buddhist practitioners or Budhisattvas guided by Guru.

6, I am deeply convinced that Buddhist practitioners are the true Princes of the Universe and must therefore aspire to attain full enlightenment.

7, I am fascinated to learn that Buddhist practitioners ought to engage in Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha on a daily basis coupled with appropriate meditations, chanting if appropriate mantras and strictly following the Guru’s instructions and directives.

8, I uphold the eight right methods of Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels as adumbrated by the Guru.

9, I submit that the Guru is a Divinely appointed teacher, mentor, guardian and spiritual father/ Patriarch whose instructions and directives are for spiritual Good of all his followers. Predicted on all the above averments, most Holy Guru, I wish to respectfully appeal to you to consider at your leisure, convenience, with your volition and authority to confer me with a Dharma name, and become one of your learners when I have enough conditions to get it under Guru’s approval.

The more I read your articles, the more I understand the importance of Buddhism in our life; especially the right methods to practice Buddhism in this busy life. I am fascinated with the methods Guru have given. I believe that if someone practice these methods diligently, they certainly get free from sufferings. Your methods and teachings are truly the way for those who are sunk in the ocean of tears and misery to get out of their troubles and problems. I highly appreciate your wisdom and compassion to set up the website of chanhtuduy.com, which offers flexibility of learning Buddhism. I also happy to praise your merit and virtue to invent six spiritual methods to help all people regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status and other diverse backgrounds, to get access to Dharma and easy to practice Dharma for the better life.

Professor Chukwugozie Maduka is the visiting professor at University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas, USA

Thereafter, Dear Holy Guru, I would like to seek permission to learn more Guru’s teachings to understand clearly the Buddha’s teachings in order that I can help myself and other people who live in Africa to have a good opportunity to learn Buddhism under Guru’s guidance. It will be a wonderful chance for me if I am able to go to Tantra House to enroll in your reputable Institute of Psychology Research and Yoga Application for three months so as to meet Guru and study deeply primary Buddhist texts, experience the spiritual activities and practices first-hand and therefrom deepen official commitment of Pure Mind Buddhism after the end of Covid 19.

I am old now and I have access to Buddhism at the old age. But better late than never, I am grateful to connect with Guru and I wish people all over the world and in my country can learn Buddhism from Guru like me. It is my humble observation that in my country and in vast portion of Africa, little is known of Buddhism and it’s tremendous efficacy. A lot of work needs to be done to save Nigeria and Africa from low spirituality and high dose of lethal materialism. It is Guru’s teachings and methods that can enlighten them and protect them from the dark of wrong view and sufferings.

On the occasion of Guru’s Day, I would like to express my gratitude towards Guru for your noble help me with your wisdom and compassion.

With utmost respect, I wish to follow your Lotus Feet on the path or enlightenment and practice Dharma to benefit self and others.

May the Guru have good health and live long.

May Pure Mind Yoga spread all over the world and all the corner of Nigeria and Africa for the sake of all sentient beings.

Guru and cats

May all sentient beings be safe and happy.

May Cocid 19 Pandemic put to an end soon.
