ONE LIFE, ONE MANTRA – 6. ONE LIFE, ONE MANTRA

Life is too short actually. A long life often ends at 100 years of age, in which 80 percent reserved for eating, sleeping, working and entertaining. The time that can be literally used for practicing Dharma, therefore, is forced to reduce with regard to any religion in the world. This is not to mention about the laziness, wayward habits and underhanded thoughts shall lead the beings keep wandering in the dark abyss of the three unwholesome realms. Avalokiteshvara who always looks down all living beings with his merciful compassion offers a blissful guided meditation in to help the beings to escape the cycle of Birth and Death: ”Mediation on my sacred image, reciting my mantra and performing strictly austere rituals dedicated to me. Those who have been practicing with such efforts, I will finally direct them to the Western Pure Land although they had committed a formidable crime which resulted in Avici Hell (The last of the eight great hot hells where the beings suffer from dying and reborning incessantly). This is the latest teaching that Avalokiteshvara transmitted to delog Dawa Drolma at the beginning of the 20th century.
