This morning I find out an English document and it’s a pleasure that I can share it to my Dharma friends. This is the five Precepts  [‘pri:sept] in English:

1-to avoid killing or harming living beings (không sát sanh)
2-to avoid stealing (không trộm cắp)
3-to avoid sexual misconduct (không tà dâm)
4-to avoid lying (không nói dối)
5-to avoid being addicted to alcohol and other intoxicating drugs (không lạm dụng các chất gây nghiện)

    I’m happy to read this article.

    Thank you very much for sharing, vajra brother Mat Thuy. By reading this articles, i learned about the five precepts translated into English.

    May Guru and his Consort have good health and live long for the sake of all sentient beings.

    May 2 vajra brothers – Mat Hai and Mat Thuy – diligently practice Dharma and all your wishes will come true.

    I am ever so pleased to see the five precepts printed in English for your English speaking students and disciples around the world to read and gain wisdom.

    Surely anyone seeking enlightenment, monk or lay person, would greatly benefit from having a clean and clear body and mind, free from the poisons of toxins and unethical behavior. Surely adhering to the five precepts would remove many obstacles and hindrances to traveling the Noble Eightfold Path.
